Delete your SikhoSkills account
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app. This page explains what happens when you do.
How to delete it
- Open SikhoSkills and sign in with your number.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Confirm. The account is gone straight away.
If you cannot sign in, email sikhoskillsadmin@gmail.com from any address, or send a message to +91 87097 71109, and say which number the account uses. We delete it within seven days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile and your phone number
- Every course you bought, and the access that came with it
- Where you had reached in each lecture
- Assignments you had ticked off
- Points, referral code and wallet credit
- Quiz results and notifications
- Your sign-in itself, so the number stops existing here
What is kept, and why
The record of a payment stays, with your name, number and account removed from it. Indian tax and accounting law requires a seller to keep proof of what was charged and refunded for several years. The order survives as an amount and a date. It no longer names you.
Before you delete
This cannot be undone. Courses you have paid for are lost with the account, and deleting does not refund them. If you only want to stop notifications, turn them off in Profile instead.
If you sign up again with the same number later, you start fresh. Nothing comes back.
